Welcome to Lux Novel ("Lux Novel", "we", "us", or "our"), a reading platform operated by Daniel Egar, an individual seller based in Nigeria. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lux Novel website, apps, and services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Lux Novel lets readers discover, read, and unlock serialized fiction using an in-app virtual currency ("Coins"). Authors and editors may publish content to the platform subject to our content guidelines.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Lux Novel.
Coins are a virtual currency used only within Lux Novel to unlock chapters and other in-app content. Coins have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be redeemed for money. Purchases of Coins are processed by our payment provider, Paddle.com, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases and handles billing, tax, and payment support. You agree not to upload or share content that is unlawful, infringes another person's rights, or violates our community guidelines. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Authors retain ownership of the stories they publish on Lux Novel. By publishing, an author grants Lux Novel a license to host, display, and distribute their work through the Service. Readers may not copy, redistribute, or resell content accessed through the Service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lux Novel is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
